WormMan Zimbabwe is a company that specializes in providing other methods of Sustainable Agriculture, which will eventually reduce the use of chemicals and in-organic fertilizers, thus contributing to the stabilizing of the environment destruction.

Initially the focus will be to educate people from all walks of life, into the correct processing of Organic Composts, Compost Tea, Vermiculture and the use of Zero Tillage methods.
Running concurrently with the above, a commercial enterprise will be in progress, with an eye for the future, thus enabling the company WormMan to become self-sustaining.

Objectives.

1    To establish a big enough organic system throughout the entire region, that will eventually lessen the dependence on chemical fertilizers.
2    To train suitable personnel into the methods as described by WormMan designated farms & educational outlets.
3.   To establish Joint Ventures with reputable Commercial Farmers, Abattoirs, and those who have access to manure from dairy herds, horse farms, piggeries etc.
4.   To set up and market the products that are produced in these Joint Ventures through the WormMan brand, thus giving the company a goal in becoming a commercially viable company, not depending on donor funds completely, within five years.

Mission.

1    In view of the chronic lack of food, as well as the economic and political state in the country, unless something is done to help ourselves in becoming self sustainable agriculturally, there will be starvation in proportions that have never before been seen in Zimbabwe.

2.    It is WormMan’s mission to create an awareness of the methods of Sustainable Agriculture on a National scale – targeting all walks of life, from the City Dweller, the Communal Farmer and the Corporate or Commercial Farmer through advertising, talk-shows and news-letters. This operation has already started.

3.    We believe that the answer to success is the implementation of a number of strategically placed Units or Demonstration Points, where Trainers may be taught new methods – Noah’s Park in Harare, for example, as well as others throughout the country, who have hands-on facilities to teach Trainers, the methods of Sustainable Agriculture as prescribed in the WormMan practical manual – ‘Worm Farming – The Sustainable Agricultural Way’.

4.    Staff have to be trained to be able to take the policies of WormMan  to the country and the communal lands, where people have little or no access to transport & electricity.
